The Cabinet has met with seven items on the agenda

BUJUMBURA December 22nd (ABP) – The Cabinet met on Wednesday December 21, 2022 under the chairmanship of the Head of State, Evariste Ndayishimiye, with seven items on the agenda, according to the press release from the General Secretariat of the government.

This is the draft decree on the implementation the organic law of January 23, 2021 amending the organic law of June 12, 2019 on the organization and functioning of the Superior Council of the Judiciary presented by the Minister of Justice, the draft law relating to the exemption of visas for holders of diplomatic, service and special passports between the Government of the Republic of Burundi and the government of the Kingdom of Morocco signed in Rabat on October 9, 2022, the bill on ratification by the Republic of Burundi of the agreement establishing the Joint Commission for Cooperation between the government of the Republic of Burundi and the government of the Kingdom of Morocco, signed in Rabat on October 19, 2022, both presented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation.

This is also a Note on the inspection of Faculties of Medicine in Burundi by the East African Community presented by the Minister in charge of Education, an Information Note on the organization of the ordinary session of the Cabinet of the Central African Forests Commission (COMIFAC) presented by the Minister in charge of the Environment, a Note on the ABUTIP file and the continuation of the TWIGE NEZA Project implemented by ABUTIP presented by the Minister responsible for Community Development and finally the miscellaneous items. In the miscellaneous items, the Cabinet will analyze a Note on the supply of electric poles by the OBPE to REGIDESO presented by the Minister of the Environment, Agriculture and Livestock and the file of Counter fragility, Conflicts, Violence presented by the Minister in charge of Finance.
