RUTANA November 11th (ABP) – Coming from Ruyigi province, the torch of peace illuminated the concreting works of the classrooms of the basic school of Mika in Rutana commune, and those of the inauguration of the collection center of milk belonging to the Bwizabwinka cooperative of Gatereni village, Kinzanza zone of Gitanga commune, before being transported to Makamba province, Wednesday November 9, 2022.

Those works were enhanced by the presence of the Vice-President of the Republic, Mr. Prosper Bazombanza accompanied by the Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Mr. François Havyarimana, MPs and senators elected in this constituency and the Governor of the Rutana province, Mr. Olivier Nibitanga.

In his speech for the occasion, Mr. Bazombanza said that the torch of peace illuminates the development works, thanking the Intwararumuri team who came to this province with a donation consisting of the cement that was used in these community works, and more than 150 sheets that will be used to cover the Rutana province office, currently under construction.

The Vice-President of the Republic welcomed the fact that the population of Rutana province responded to the call of the leaders to ensure peace and security in this province.

As for Governor Nibitanga, he is delighted that the torch of peace has arrived in this province at a time when the population has just had the rain it was impatiently waiting for, and is now in the sowing period.

Note that the vice-president appealed to everyone to ensure good management of public affairs, to fight against embezzlement of the public treasury and to participate in the community development works.
