The Minister in charge of communication granted a donation of 75 mattresses to ETB of Bubanza

BUBANZA November 9th (ABP) – The Bubanza Technical School (ETB) received on Monday, November 7, 2022, a donation of 75 mattresses, from the Minister of Communication, Information Technologies and the Media in its attributions, a check on the site by ABP.

In her speech, Minister Ndacayisaba indicated that she thought of that good deed because, she explained, the education sector is the nursery of all executives and the source of the country’s development. For this, it should attract everyone’s attention, she adds. Mrs. Ndacayisaba called on the various partners working in that province of Bubanza, to always reserve a section of support for education, but also to make an effective contribution to provincial development. To the students, beneficiaries, she asked them to make good use of these mattresses and to devote themselves to studies for good success, because they are a category of the active population that Burundi still needs, a check on the site by ABP has revealed. Figures and data available to the Provincial Directorate of Education (DPE) show that boarding schools in Bubanza province still need 746 mattresses, including 396 at the Bubanza technical school, 108 at the ‘ITAB Gihanga, 108 at the ETM Gihanga, 118 at the Bukinga High School, in Musigati commune and 16 at the Muzinda food-processing technical high school. The provincial director of education,Mr.  Claude Badugaritse took this opportunity to invite the native executives of that province and other charitable souls, to give support to this sector which still needs other school materials, such as benches, desks, etc.
