BUBANZA July 5th (ABP) – The Prime Minister of the Republic of Burundi, Mr. Alain Guillaume Bunyoni, joined the Christians of the “ELAYON” Church of Kanenga in Mpanda commune (north-west of Burundi), in Sunday prayer on July 3, a check by ABP revealed.
In his preaching, and referring to the word of God found in 1 Peter, Chap 2: 9, 10, 11, 12 and 17, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Burundi invited the Christians of that church to honor everybody, to love the brothers, to fear God and to respect the authorities. He asked them to remain aware that they are a chosen race, an acquired people and that they have obtained divine mercy.
Based on those scriptures, Mr. Bunyoni urged them to abstain from carnal lusts which make war on the soul, and to have a good conduct so that those who slander them as wrongdoers will notice their good works and that they glorify God. It is worthy to note that the followers of the “ELAYON” church granted, as a gift, two heifers and two sheep to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Burundi, and the latter promised them 100 bags of cement to continue the construction of that church.
