KIRUNDO June 14th (ABP) – As part of supporting the development of the country, Miss Burundi 2022 Kelly Ngaruko officially launched Friday, June 10, 2022 in the capital of Kirundo province (northern Burundi) her empowerment project young girls and women between the ages of 20 and 30, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

Under the theme “Burundi in business”, Miss Burundi said that she considered it important to invest in young girls and women because, she said, this will not only create their own income but also to impact future generations because it is young mothers who will educate and allow the development of youth, which will allow the development of Kirundo province and also the whole country in general, she hammered.

Miss Burundi Ngaruko stressed that her purpose is to influence the young Burundian woman so that she becomes the image and the aspiration for others by being not only autonomous but also a leader in her own community.

She specified that we will soon choose among those young girls and women, those who will benefit from the capital facilitating their self-development. Miss Kelly Ngaruko said that she chose Kirundo province for the launch of her project since in the past the women of Kirundo had the thirst to work to develop the country.

The second reason is that she also has roots in this province since her late grandfather Pierre Ngendandumwe, who was Prime Minister of Burundi in the 1960s, was born in Kirundo. The governor of Kirundo Mr. Albert Hatungimana said that the administration is ready to support all the activities of Miss Burundi which will be implemented in this province, especially that we plan to support the youth while making it known that the youth of Kirundo constitutes 60% of the provincial people.
