MAKAMBA May 17th (ABP) – The deputy secretary general of the CNDD-FDD party, Mr. Joseph Ntakirutimana is asking the population to join the Eagle party, explaining that he seeks the well-being of the country. Mr. Ntakirutimana returned to the dark periods that marked the history of Nyanza-Lac commune, saying that the CNDD-FDD came to power to stabilize the country. He asked Burundians to go about development and self-financing work because peace and security have already been restored in Burundi. That story should be told to young people so that they know that peace was dearly won, he said.
He thanked the people of Nyanza-Lac who generously welcome the returnees. Mr. Ntakirutimana advised the new members of the ruling party to participate more in the maintenance of peace and security in their surroundings and thus join others in the development work organized by the administrators.
