MEMISA and Médecins Sans Vacances have officially launched the new “Health for All” program

MURAMVYA April 14th (ABP) – Concerns related to building the capacity and skills of health sector personnel, the rehabilitation of health centers and hospitals with particular emphasis on communal hospitals which require extensions and equipment are among the activities offered to the NGOs MEMISA and Médecins Sans Vacances.

This was said on Tuesday, April 12, during the launch of the new program “Health for all” by the officials of the two districts and the provincial medical director of health in Muramvya province. According to the chief of staff in the office of the governor of Muramvya, Christophe Nemeyimana, this five-year program will contribute a lot in the progress of the healthcare facilities and the health personnel who will benefit from the equipment and the capacity building and skills, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

As for the collaboration of the NGO MEMISA Belgium and the Médecins Sans Vacances, the coordinator of the programs of the MEMISA Belgium, Dr Édouard Nkurunziza, made it known that the importance of the new program Health for all is to carry out activities already proposed by the health officials who will benefit from the support.
