BUJUMBURA March 15th (ABP) – The SS company organized last week, the first Miss Burundi 2022 competition, candidates who were selected after registration.
According to Mrs. Dacia Munezero, in charge of communication for Miss Burundi, said that this company is committed to organizing this competition annually to give young Burundian girls the opportunity to express themselves publicly and to propose their projects in the hope to be elected Miss Burundi and to be able to validly represent Burundi at the regional and international level and to attract more investors and tourists to our country. She also recalled that they selected 57 girls in competition among 141 girls who were registered, specifying that the committee in charge of organizing that Miss Burundi competition will select and announce the best candidates after that competition.
To this end, she thanked the candidates present for their efforts, stressing that the Miss Burundi competition is not limited to demonstrating the beauty and values of Burundian girls but also focuses on intelligence and liveliness in this competition for its to ensure that they can represent the country elegantly and intelligently. She recalled the criteria used in this competition, in particular being a Burundian girl whose age is between 18-25 years old, of a height greater than or equal to 1.65 cm, not having more than 65 kg with a criminal record. The candidate must also be single and have a general humanities diploma and knowledge of Kirundi and French is also required.
