Reception of 3,200 new CNDD-FDD party activists in Bujumbura City Council

BUJUMBURA March 15th (ABP) – The Secretary General of the CNDD-FDD party, Mr. Réverien Ndikuriyo honored on Saturday March 12, 2022 in Bujumbura (ETS Kamenge field), the ceremonies marking the welcome of 3,200 new members of the CNDD-FDD party, the majority of which come from the CNL party and the IPD-Zigamibanga.

In his speech, the CNDD-FDD party general secretary first wished best wishes for the new year of 2022 and wished the “Bagumyabanga” a year of blessings. He expressed his thanks to the newcomers and asked them to tackle development work for their own development in particular and that of the country in general. He hopes that other members from other parties will come, specifying that sensitization raids will soon be made in all the communes, zones as well as the districts of the town hall of Bujumbura.

Mr. Ndikuriyo asked all “Bagumyabanga” to remain united in safeguarding peace and security. He also invited them to have a vision, protect the environment, increase production to fight against poverty. It is also an opportunity to congratulate the President of the Republic of Burundi, Mr. Evariste Ndayishimiye for the step already taken in terms of cooperation with other countries, specifying that even the sanctions that were imposed on Burundi have been lifted. He invites Burundians who have concerns to consult the leaders to see how to find solutions instead of thinking of making demonstrations. Note that the ceremonies of this day were debited by the construction works of the CNDD-FDD office in Bujumbura Town Hall whose headquarters is in Kigobe.

The provincial secretary of the CNDD-FDD party in the Bujumbura City Council, Mr. Didmond Mvukiye invited the “Bagumyabanga” of the Bujumbura Town Hall to give their contributions so that the construction works of the said office are completed by the year 2023.

The secretary general of the CNDD-FDD party promised him a contribution of 200 bags of cement for this work.
