BUJUMBURA December 13th (ABP) – The mayor of the city of Bujumbura Mr. Jimmy Hatungimana, in collaboration with the ambassador Albert Nasasagare, held, on Thursday, December 9, 2021, a meeting for representatives of religious denominations working in Bujumbura City, to invite them to contribute in the preparation of a crusade organized by the presidential family, which will be held from December 27 to 31 of the current year.

Mr. Hatungimana said the objective of the meeting was to invite leaders of different religious denominations to sensitize and mobilize their followers to become actively involved in its organization.

Mr. Hatungimana also specified that the administration of the City Council and those responsible for religious denominations, in particular bishops and pastors, are the target groups for the proper preparation of this feast.

He asked those leaders to give those who will help with the various services including hospitality and protocol and preaching.

Ambassador Albert Nasasagare, who represented the Head of State in that meeting, reminded participants that the presidential family prepares each end of the year a crusade to thank the Almighty for the protection of that family, the country and for all the activities accomplished during the whole year and to share the joy of the end of the year with the citizens.

The leaders of religious denominations present in that meeting agreed to give their contribution during that crusade.

They also asked the mayor of the city of Bujumbura to prepare a press release to facilitate awareness among those faithful.
