BUJUMBURA November 26th (ABP) – The soldiers of the Burundian contingent of the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM), in addition to security maintenance actions, are receiving training in various disciplines. The closing ceremonies of this training were chaired by the Commander of the AMISOM Force, Lieutenant General Diomède Ndegeya. The Burundian ministry in charge of national defense also indicates that the drivers of the AMISOM contingent have just completed two training courses, one on driving anti-mine vehicles in Jowhar and the other which was intended for drivers of trucks and machines. of different categories. These trainings will allow the beneficiaries of the training on the one hand to limit the risks associated with improvised explosive devices and on the other hand to properly accomplish their mission.
