BUJUMBURA November 26th (ABP) – Warrior Eco-Green Company specializes in manufacturing banana-based packaging to protect the environment, it was revealed on Tuesday November 24 from the founding director of Warrior Eco-Green Company, Mr. Jolis Nduwimana, during an innovation and youth entrepreneurship fair held in Bujumbura.
In an interview with a check by ABP, Mr. Nduwimana said that this company manufactures packaging made from banana peels to avoid pollution and climate change because, he explained, that packaging is capable of degrade in seven days.
Besides, he said, this company processes bananas that previously were thrown away or abandoned by farmers after harvest.
The founding director of Warrior Eco-Green Company further indicated that his company wanted to contribute to the sustainable development of the country by providing employment for young people.
That company, which started on April 20, 2020 with its founder, now has nine people, including one who is responsible for communication and another who is responsible for product marketing.
According to Mr. Nduwimana, his business faces some challenges, including a lack of machinery. Indeed, he said, all the transformations are manual, which has repercussions on the production because one cannot have a large production by doing manual labor.
He also said that the company needs production equipment and a good location to
be able to exercise in good conditions.
That company, which was located in Karusi province, is now located in Gitega province, said Mr. Nduwimana.
