Expenditure commitment ceilings for the second quarter of 2021-2022 was one of the items on the agenda of the Cabinet meeting

BUJUMBURA October 28th (ABP) – The Cabinet met on Wednesday October 27, 2021 in Bujumbura under the chairmanship of the Head of State, Mr. Evariste Ndayishimiye. Ten points were on the agenda.

Those are the expenditure commitment ceilings for the second quarter of 2021-2022; the strategic documents of the Ministry of the Interior, Community Development and Public Security, including the 2021-2027 general policy letter and the 2021-2027 strategic plan; the sector strategy of the Ministry of National Solidarity, Social Affairs, Human Rights and Gender aligned with the National Development Plan.

It is also the sector strategy of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Equipment and Social Housing; the sector strategy of the Ministry of Civil Service, Labor and Employment; the sector strategy of the Ministry of Hydraulics, Energy and Mines.

The draft decree revoking the license to mine nickel and associated minerals in the Musongati perimeter in favor of the company Burundi mining metallurgy international (BMM International); the draft decree on the status of ex-combatants; the draft memorandum of understanding between the Egyptian company EL SEWEDY ELECTRONIC and Burundi as well as the various items are also among the points to be analyzed.
