RUTANA August 9th (ABP) – Young people from Rutana province who are members of seven different political parties who have benefited from training provided by a local NGO Burundi Leadership Training Program (BLTP), presented on Friday August 6, 2021 to the authorities of the Rutana province an amount of money as their contribution to the construction of the provincial office, a check in Rutana by ABP revealed. Those young people belong to the CNDD-FDD, UPRONA, CNL, FRODEBU, UPD-Zigamibanga, FNL and RANAC parties and are brought together in an organization called Youth Leader for the Future in Burundi (Youth LAB). They are currently undergoing a two-day training course on conflict prevention and management and reflection on development issues. That contribution to the construction of the provincial office came from contributions withdrawn from their living expenses, as indicated by their representative who handed the envelope to the chief of staff in the office of the provincial governor, Mrs. Belyne Nahimana. Mrs. Nahimana thanked those young people for that gesture which, according to her, is a sign of support for the development of their native province and urged them to always love their homeland and to serve it.
