NGOZI June 11th (ABP) – The ruling party, the CNDD-FDD, has been organizing a three-day prayer since Wednesday June 9, 2021 in Ngozi province (northern Burundi), a check on the site by ABP has revealed
The provincial secretary of the said party, Mr. Jules Aristide Ndatirimana, indicated in his welcome speech that this prayer, which is organized the day after the celebration of the first anniversary of the passing of President Pierre Nkurunziza, have the objective of remembering and soak up the pleasing qualities of the late president. They also aim to perpetuate the legacy of President Nkurunziza who bequeathed good deeds to Burundians, Mr. Ndatirimana said.
Among the good deeds bequeathed to the people of Ngozi, President Nkurunziza educated the inhabitants of Ngozi in prayer, in praise of the Almighty. He taught humility, the revalorization of ancestral culture, good mores and traditional values. He preached, by good example, the fight against divisions of all kinds, solidarity and peaceful cohabitation with neighbors, the provincial secretary of the CNDD-FDD party in Ngozi province continued to say.
Mr. Ndatirimana also notes the promotion of a spirit of work well done, self-promotion and the highlighting of a vision in the implementation of projects. Finally, he recognizes in Nkurunziza a man who has contributed enormously to the promotion of sport and sports infrastructures.
“He was also a brave man, of incredible temerity. He will forever remain in the hearts of the inhabitants of Ngozi particularly and of Burundians in general,” Mr. Ndatirimana concluded.
The prayer was attended by the wife of the late president Nkurunziza, the president of the Senate, the Burundian ombudsman, some members of the government, the provincial secretaries of the CNDD-FDD party of Gitega and Kayanza. It was revealed that in addition to the preaching of the day, there are also be teachings for young people and women.
