CIBITOKE June 11th (ABP) – At least two hundred loincloths of Congolese origin which have not been cleared through customs were seized in the morning of June 10 at around 4 a.m., in Munyika village of Rugombo commune in Cibitoke province (north-west Burundi), according to administrative and police sources.

To get there, the police were informed by the entourage, and one of the traffickers, a certain Olivier Ndayikengurukiye, was apprehended with his goods. Police information revealed that those loincloths were waiting for a transport vehicle to be taken to the province of Kayanza (north). The police are still looking for the latter’s teammates who have managed to get away.

The local administration calls on the people to collaborate with the police to strengthen the quadrilogy and discourage fraudsters who want to get rich to the detriment of the country.
