BUJUMBURA May 27th (ABP) – The President of the Republic of Burundi, Mr. Evariste Ndayishimiye, hosted in camera on Wednesday June 26, 2021 in Bujumbura, a moralization session for senior executives of the national defense force of Burundi, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
In an interview with the press at the end of the session, the spokesperson for the Head of State, Mrs. Evelyne Butoyi, said that this meeting with senior army officers is part of the pursuit of a series of moralization sessions for the people that he has been undertaking for some time.
Mrs. Butoyi pointed out that during that moralization session the Head of State spoke of patriotic love where he invites the people to do all their best in order to contribute to development. As for the high-ranking officers, the President of the Republic invited them to be true leaders since they are pillars of development and national reconciliation.
According to her, the Head of State made it clear that he did not come to discuss military issues but that he came to continue that campaign of moralization for all categories of the Burundian population.
