CANKUZO, May 14th (ABP) – The bright mothers of the Cankuzo province benefited on Saturday from 174 bicycles and bags from the Nkuriza project with the aim of facilitating their tasks in the fight against diseases linked to malnutrition, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
As indicated by the doctor responsible for that health province of Cankuzo, Dr. Frédéric Faustin Irambona, smart studies have shown that diseases linked to malnutrition exceed the threshold level in that province.
He welcomed the effective involvement of the Nkuriza project in the context of eradication, by demonstrating techniques for preparing a balanced diet for women, actions that the Cankuzo health province considers very useful given that those diseases have harmful consequences on the life of the population, once not controlled in childhood. According to Dr. Frédéric Faustin, those bikes and bags will facilitate the travel of those enlightened mothers who give their body and soul for that purpose and in the conservation of the materials used.
As for the beneficiaries, they were delighted with those means offered to them, specifying that they covered several villages on foot to monitor the health of children and pregnant and breastfeeding women. They are committed to making good use of it.
