BUJUMBURA March 27th (ABP) – The President of the Republic of Burundi, Mr. Evariste Ndayishimiye, joined on Tuesday March 26 other leaders of the country to participate in the 15th edition of the National Prayer Breakfast organized by the two chambers of the parliament under the theme: “Whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap”, taken from the epistle of Saint Paul the Apostle to Galatians 6: 7.
In his teachings, the Head of State called on Burundian political leaders to work hard and be at the service of the nation to enlighten the population on the right path towards development.
All the potential that must be brought together for Burundi to be a prosperous nation is there, he stressed, indicating that it is enough for Burundians, starting with the leaders, to build their conscience and set sustainable development objectives while thinking about the best future for future generations. According to him, this awareness will lead Burundi towards the vision of an emerging country in 2040 and developed in 2060.
The National Breakfast Prayer, 15th edition, was also an opportunity for the Burundian Number One to urge citizens to unearth the country buried by bad leaders through hard work and to have confidence in the leaders. President Ndayishimiye also asked the participants to sow good fruits by promoting the truth, since everyone will reap what they sow.
