The Minister of the Interior recommends rigor to administrators at all levels to serve as an example to the rest of the population

RUYIGI March 4th  (ABP) – The Burundian Minister of the Interior, Public Security and Communal Development, Martin Niteretse, met, Thursday February 29, 2024, in the capital of Ruyigi province, the heads of services decentralized authorities, municipal administrators, zone chiefs as well as police commissioners of the seven communes in the Ruyigi province, with a view to discussing daily experiences in their work, with a view to improving performance and monitoring the production of crop season A, and strengthening security.

Minister Niteretse took that opportunity to call on the participants in that meeting to raise awareness among the population on the good management of production in crop season A, to prepare for the current season B and to stay alert to prevent any kind incident or blunder likely to disrupt security.

Each authority, at all levels, has been called to be a positive model in the community and to preach through good deeds so that the population is better guided, in peace and development. Note that that meeting took place after another which was exclusively intended for the police force throughout the province of Ruyigi, which took place behind closed doors.
