KAYANZA March 2nd (ABP) – The Butaganzwa commune in Kayanza province will soon have a fuel service station, which will reduce the loss of resources and time suffered by bikers or vehicle drivers searching for fuel.

However, the poor condition of the Bukeye-Butaganzwa road remains a major challenge in getting fuel to that service station. Faced with that situation, the governor of Kayanza, Remy Cishahayo, promised to contact his counterpart in Muramvya province to discuss the rehabilitation of that road, we learn from administrative sources.

The motorcycle taxi drivers of Butaganzwa have indicated that they must obtain fuel from the capital of Kayanza province or in Bukeye commune, in the neighboring province of Muramvya. “To get there, we waste fuel and time, in addition to the maintenance costs of our motorcycles,” they say with despair.

Contacted on that subject, the administrator of the Butaganzwa commune, Mrs. Janvière Kanyana, agreed in the same vein, emphasizing that in addition to those motorcycles, the commune also has a large number of vehicles and the drivers and owners who suffer the same fate.

However, she reassured the population that that problem could be resolved at any time.

Mr. Désiré Mpawenimana, a native of Butaganzwa, who is in the process of building that service station there, indicates that, according to forecasts, that service station will be operational at the beginning of next May, but requested that the Bukeye-Butaganzwa road is rehabilitated so that supply and access to that station is easy.

Note that on the sidelines of his visits to the Gatara, Muhanga, Rango and Butaganzwa communes, the governor of Kayanza visited the construction site of that service station.
