KIRUNDO, November 9th (ABP) – The President of the Republic of Burundi, Evariste Ndayishimiye, presented on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in Bugabira commune of Kirundo province (northern Burundi), the new governor of Kirundo province, Mr. Victor Segasago , a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
The Head of State indicated, in his speech, that he is preoccupied by two battles, namely the fight against injustice and that of the search for development. It is in that sense that he asked the new governor to be his good representative.
Through the advice provided, President Ndayishimiye urged Governor Segasago to always be at the side of the people to encourage them to develop the province and the country. He did not fail to point out that there will be no tolerance for those who embezzle public funds, the reason why he has taken it upon himself to closely monitor the cases of those accused of such crimes.
The Head of State took the opportunity to invite the people of Kirundo to work courageously to develop the country.
Governor Segasago, through his speech, asked the people of his province to support him through community development work to enable him to succeed in his agricultural and livestock development objectives.
