BUJUMBURA October 19th (ABP) – Members of the government met in the Cabinet, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, in Bujumbura under the presidency of the President of the Republic, Evariste Ndayishimiye, with 4 points on the agenda. Those include the draft national policy of tourism in Burundi and its implementation strategy and the clarification note in relation to the Project for the installation of solar street lights for public lighting in the town of Gitega.
The Cabinet meeting also analyzed the note on the status of the implementation of the recommendations of the Cabinet on the file relating to the contract for the sale of the land housing the former AFB stadium, concluded between the Government of Burundi and TOYOTA Burundi and the amicable settlement proposal initiated by TOYOTA Burundi.
The Cabinet also looked at the note on the process of calculating the impact of the thaw of the annals in institutions with special statuses.
