BUJUMBURA September 12th (ABP) – The President of the Republic of Burundi and current President of the East African Community, His Excellency Evariste Ndayishimiye, took the plane on Sunday, September 10, 2023, to the Republic of Cuba ,according to the press release from the Office responsible for information, communication and spokesperson for the President of the Republic.
President Ndayishimiye will take part in the summit of heads of state and government of the Group of 77 and China (G77+ China) summit scheduled for September 15-16, 2023 in Havana.
The President of the Republic of Burundi, continues the same press release, was in together with the First Lady of the country, Mrs. Angéline Ndayishimiye.
