BUJUMBURA August 17th (ABP) – The Olivia University of Bujumbura proceeded, on Monday August 14, 2023, during a press briefing, to the proclamation of the results of the selection test for scholarship candidates at this university.
Among the 27 scholarship recipients, including 10 girls and 17 boys, 10 are assigned to Medicine, 10 to Pharmacy, six to Nursing and one to Computer Science.
For those who are scholarship recipients, this favor will begin with the 2023-2024 academic year, it will continue for the normal duration of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, and end with the 2028-2029 academic session. The scholarship is 36 thousand US dollars for students of Medicine and Surgery, and 15 thousand US dollars for others.
The deputy vice chancellor of that University, Prof. Sylvestre Nworu, recommended that scholarship students make the most of this opportunity and aim for excellence in their studies.
He also pointed out that the Olivia University of Bujumbura has not put back the development of the country, respect for the law and the enrichment of the central libraries.
