BUJUMBURA April 30th (ABP) – The CNDD-FDD party organized, on April 27, 2023, as it is usually the last Thursday of the month, the ecumenical prayer of thanksgiving at the national office of this party based on the biblical passage taken from Numbers 32:1-5.
The secretary general of the CNDD-FDD party, Mr. Révérien Ndikuriyo said that the month of April was marked by many blessings. He said that during this month he was able to visit the different areas of the country where he took this opportunity to call on the militants to develop themselves and safeguard peace and security.
He took the opportunity to thank the Almighty for having guided and spared Burundi and the Burundians. It was also an opportunity to place himself in the hands of the Lord and to implore his grace for the month of May.
Mr. Révérien Ndikuriyo invited the members of this party to get down to self-development work in order to support the sustainable development of the country. He challenged them for the good cohabitation by avoiding false mutual accusations and respecting the leaders in order to safeguard peace and security in the country.
He also pointed out that the CNDD-FDD party has planned the planting of 20 million trees in the different localities of the country in order to fight against the lack of coal and against climate change.
The teaching of the day was given by Sheikh Lamazani Ndikumana. He urged CNDD-FDD activists to continue to make room for God in their work to keep the Party’s ideology in power. He asked them to observe righteousness at work, emphasizing that God loves the good and punishes the wrongdoers.
