BUJUMBURA April 19th (ABP) – Olivia University of Bujumbura organized on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, a press conference for the media, to announce 50 local scholarships in the faculties of medicine, pharmacy and sciences of nursing, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
The rector of the Olivia University of Bujumbura Reverend prof. Josephat Obi Oguejiofor indicated that the said university manages all its programs in English because the English language is a language used at the global level, adding that they want graduates prepared to operate at the national and international level.
He also said that to obtain the students deserving of the 50 scholarships, we will pass the academic aptitude test for the winners of the State examination and who have obviously taken the entrance test to the faculties of medicine. He pointed out that for other students who want to study at this university, the school fees are 6,300,000 BIF per year, with 110,000 BIF registration.
Professor Josephat Obi Oguejiofor also clarified that the academic aptitude test is scheduled for May this year in English. He also pointed out that before officially starting studies in September; there will be four-month training for those who are selected.
Note that the Olivia University of Bujumbura began its activities in 2022 and has other faculties such as the faculties of computer science and science, engineering, technology as well as the faculties of management and social sciences.
