GITEGA/RUYIGI April 3rd (ABP) – The CNDD-FDD party organized, on Thursday, March 30, 2023, in Gitega (center of the country) and Ruyigi (East of the country), as usual, its ecumenical prayer held every last Thursday of the month.
In Gitega, the prayer took place in the precincts of the paramedical school. On this occasion, the provincial secretary of the CNDD-FDD party challenged men to have a dignified behavior in the family, never to mistreat their wives, not to waste the wealth of the family and to have a vision to ensure development household sustainability.
The preacher of the day, Mrs. Dorothée Ntakarutimana asked women to respect their husbands and to characterize themselves by behavior worthy of a woman in their household, because according to her men can change their behavior and convert thanks to the good behavior of their wives.
In Ruyigi, this prayer took place in Muriza zone, Butaganzwa commune. The secretary general of the CNDD-FDD, Révérien Ndikuriyo called on the militants of this party and on all Burundians in general to have a clear vision of the construction of the country and especially to avoid bad influences likely to delay their own development.
Based on biblical teaching which calls on men to love their wives as Christ loved his church to the point of sacrificing his life, Mr. Ndikuriyo returned to love of country and asked all Burundians to the interests of the nation before any sectarian interest. He specified that the CNDD-FDD took as its basis the works of the national hero of independence, Prince Louis Rwagasore, that of democracy, Melchior Ndadaye.
Mr. Ndikuriyo also recalled that the militants of that party have the moral duty to serve as a good example in society by setting clear objectives to be achieved with the possibility of verifying the results achieved.
That message was given when this authority had just completed a campaign of raids in all areas of Ruyigi province in order to exchange with members who have recently received the ideological teachings of that party.
