BUJUMBURA March 28th (ABP) – The General Inspectorate of Justice officially launched, on Monday, March 27, 2023 in Bujumbura, a training workshop for justice inspectors in verification methodology.
On that occasion, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, Mr. Gervais Hajayandi, indicated that the training session aims to strengthen the technical capacities of inspectors. He indicated that at the end of this training, the justice inspectors should be able to carry out the verification missions as a whole and in a harmonized manner. And that, in accordance with generally accepted standards, in the matter following the appropriate methodology and using adequate verification procedures in order to produce good quality control reports.
He recalled that the General Inspectorate of Justice must ensure compliance control, financial control as well as performance control of the various jurisdictions and other entities placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Justice. For that mission to be carried out, the General Inspectorate of Justice must have qualified staff in matters of control, he added.
