The President of the Republic has received in audience various new ambassadors

GITEGA March 16th (ABP) – The President of the Republic of Burundi, Mr. Evariste Ndayishimiye, received in audience on Tuesday March 14, 2023 in the House of Gitega (center of the country), the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors of Austria, Cuba, Djibouti, Sultanate of Oman, Sudan and South Sudan. They came to present their credentials to him.

First, President Ndayishimiye received the Austrian Ambassador to Burundi, Mr. Christian Feliner. Secondly, he received the Cuban ambassador to Burundi, Mr. Tania Perox Xiques, who has his headquarters in Kampala, Uganda.

The President of the Republic also received the new Ambassador of Djibouti, Mr. Abdi Mohamoud Eybe. It is headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. After him, the President of Burundi met with the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Sous Bin Hilal Al Shidhani.

President Ndayishimiye also received the Ambassador of Sudan to Burundi, Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim and lastly, he received Mr. Juach Deng, the new Ambassador of South Sudan to Burundi.
