MAKAMBA February 21st (ABP) – Under the auspices of the Secretary General of the CNDD-FDD party, Mr. Révérien Ndikuriyo, the natives of Makamba province, members of that party, met on Sunday, February 19, 2023, to evaluate the 2022 activities and set themselves prospects for the future to fortify their party, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
In his speech, the provincial secretary of the CNDD-FDD, Mr. Gilbert Nduwayo, indicated that they rehabilitated the provincial office, built 34 houses for vulnerable people and assisted women who gave birth to triplets, through the so-called women’s league “Abakenyererarugamba”, CNDD-FDD activists. They also assisted people in need, including those who had accidents or lost theirs. Mr. Nduwayo indicated that they will continue to teach the ideology of the CNDD-FDD party, to participate in general interest activities organized by the administration with particular emphasis on the environmental protection, especially the banks of rivers, growing bamboo without forgetting to make the bricks that will be used to build houses for the vulnerable.
The godmother of Makamba province, Mrs. Nancy Ninette Mutoni, asked the activists of that party and the people in general to strengthen the good neighborly relations existing between Burundi and Tanzania.
The Secretary General, Mr. Révérien Ndikuriyo, first of all thanked the government which is doing everything to ensure that the whole territory is safe. He asked the people to grow industrial crops and return to the education of the ancestors to strengthen unity. He warned anyone who can cause the shortage of basic necessities including sugar and those who trade in fertilizers while the latter are subsidized.
