KARUSI January 16th (ABP) – As part of the trips organized by the government of Burundi, the Minister of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Mr. Audace Niyonzima, visited the province of Karusi, in the afternoon of January 10, 2023.
Indeed, the rehabilitation of tracks and culverts, the protection of the Gatare ravine located on Buhiga hill, the construction of a public university and the regularization of salaries for isolated cases, were the major concerns of the governor of Karusi, Mrs. Devote Nizigiyimana, concerns that await solution at the Ministry of Finance, she said.
After explaining the missions of the ministry, Mr. Niyonzima insisted on the collection of tax and customs revenues, which constitute internal revenues, donations and external debts. The Minister in charge of finance commended the achievements of the OBR and pledged his commitment to resolve the issues addressed to him as far as possible.
