The First Vice-President of the Burundian Senate continues her visit to Bubanza province

BUBANZA December 1st (ABP) – The First Vice-President of the Burundian Senate, Denise Ndadaye, visited, on Tuesday, November 29, the Musigati and Gihanga communes (north-west of Burundi),  a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

In Musigati commune, the First Vice-President of the Upper House of Parliament joined local residents in the community development works, which consisted of the construction of 12 classrooms for ECOFO Musigati 1.

In her interview with the inhabitants of that town, the First Vice-President of the Senate, asked for the involvement of administrative officials, parents, teachers and others in education and quality teaching because, she said, that implies the active people that Burundi needs for its development.

She called them, also, to the implication in the reinforcement of the security and the harmony in the households, by obliging the legalization of the marriages and to avoid the concubinage which leads to the demographic pressure. That authority has granted a contribution of 30 bags of cement, in the construction of those classrooms, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

In Gihanga commune, the First Vice-President of the Senate visited the modern chicken coop in Gihungwe, belonging to a member of the diaspora, named Albertine Ndayizeye. That chicken coop has 3700 broilers, 2000 laying hens. This lady has also set up a pigsty where she manages 160 improved breed pigs. It has already hired 20 employees.

The First Vice-President of the Senate then visited the cooperative ADECA (Action for Economic Development focused on Integrated Aquaculture which practices stilt farming, where fish farming is associated with poultry farming, in Ninga Village 4.

She encouraged those development initiatives made by individuals who serve as a good reference for others.

Note that the First Vice-President of the Burundian Senate has been visiting Bubanza province since Monday, November 28, when she paid a visit to Rugazi commune.
