KARUSI November 14th (ABP) – The Prime Minister Gervais Ndirakobuca brought together this Thursday, November 10, 2022, provincial and communal executives as well as representatives of other multisectoral services in Karusi province to discuss the main orientations responsible and hard-working state.

Where do we come from, where are we and where are we going, those are the questions answered by the Prime Minister in order to have a good discussion with the population.

According to him, Burundi has gone through a hard past but today is a good time, an opportunity for metamorphosis. Each leader is called upon to behave like a parent in front of his subordinates in order to avoid falling back into conflicts linked to a divisionist policy that Burundi has experienced. The law is there to be respected, noted the Prime Minister. “I urge you to protect everyone equally,” he recommended.

To the corrupt and corrupters, he gave a final warning. The time of clientelism and nepotism is over to embrace the well-being of all, according to the Prime Minister who calls for work in synergy in strict compliance with the law. The respect of public property, the protection of the population against all evils, the application of sanctions, as provided for by law and the keeping of registers of grievances at each level of the administration were the main recommendations.

During the exchanges, the participants expressed the wish to build a public university in Karusi, to make chemical fertilizers available in time, to find means of transport for the technicians of the BPEAE and to manage the ravine of Gatare village Buhiga which threatens the people.
