MURAMVYA November 9th (ABP) – The people of Rutegama commune is called upon to continue to work on community development work and to take advantage of the rain that has been observed in recent days. This appeal was made to them on Saturday, November 5 by the governor of Muramvya province, Diomède Nzambimana, after his participation in the works related to the concrete mixing and paving of a classroom under construction at ECOFO Nkonyovu located in Mushikamo zone of Rutegama commune in Muramvya province (center-west), noted the ABP on the spot.

He also mobilized the natives and the municipal councilors to support the efforts of the hill population who are giving themselves to the construction of public infrastructures, including classrooms so that all children can go to school and study in good conditions.

Among other advice that the governor of Muramvya province gave to the people of Nkonyovu is the irrigation of their fields in case of shortage of rains. According to Governor Nzambimana, the same efforts used in the collection of gravel, sand and rubble can be used in the irrigation of fields in order to have a good harvest in the absence of sufficient rain.
