BUJUMBURA September 20th (ABP) – The President of the Burundian Senate Mr. Emmanuel Sinzohagera welcomed on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport, the President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Morocco at the same time the President of the association from the Shoura Senates and Equivalent Councils of Africa and the Arab World (ASSECAA), Mr. Mayara Enaam.
In an interview granted to the media, Mr. Sinzohagera said that he is coming to participate in the 9th meeting of ASSECAA which will last two days. He added that they will also welcome ASSECAA senators from different countries to participate in this meeting. In addition, he stressed, they will discuss the consequences caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and those caused by the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Taking the floor, Mr. Mayara hoped that ASSECAA would be a space for exchanging experiences and good practices.
