BUJUMBURA September 19th (ABP) – Miss Anny Joanice Nizigiyimana, in charge of the department of women and girls in the AJAMAP association, indicated on Friday September 16, 2022 that the objective of the organization of that workshop is to raise awareness among women and girls’ artists and artisans to develop in their crafts, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
Indeed, Miss Nizigiyimana said that in order to be able to achieve development and especially empowerment, women and girls must acquire other knowledge, adding that they aim for financial independence and above all empowerment of women in Bujumbura and from the interior of the country, to reach an international level in art or in other trades, but above all to aim for entrepreneurship through their craft activities.
She also invited all women and girls who are artists, to be able to join other organizations, in cooperatives or associations, to be able to work together, but also from the principle of having to undertake in all that they do.
