The “Intwari” team won with 2 goals to nil against the “La pépinière” team

BUJUMBURA August 22nd (ABP) – The First Lady of Burundi, Mrs. Angeline Ndayishimiye, launched on Saturday August 20 at the Intwari stadium in Bujumbura, a friendly match between two teams of young people under 15 years old.

It was the “Intwari” team from the political capital Gitega where the son Hugor of the presidential family played, who was playing the match with the “La Pépinière” team from the economic capital Bujumbura.

In her speech, before the kick-off of that match, the First Lady, Angeline Ndayishimiye indicated that this match is part of the program of the Office of the First Lady for Development (OPDD).

Furthermore, she continued, that program supports young people in their work of self-development.

The First Lady, Angeline Ndayishimiye also indicated that her young people have different talents. Those children are players that Burundi plans to use in the years to come, reassured the First Lady.

Note that the match ended with a score of 2 goals to nil in favor of the Intwari team from the political capital Gitega. The goals were scored in the second half.
