BUJUMBURA August 14th (ABP) – The President of the Republic, Mr. Evariste Ndayishimiye, received in audience, on Thursday, August 11, 2022, the new ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Burundi who came to present his credentials. That ambassador is Abdullah Ali Al Shuryan, with the headquarters in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania
The spokesman for the President of the Republic, Alain Diomède Nzeyimana said that relations between the two countries are in good shape. He indicated that reciprocal exchanges, accompanied by visits from all sides, are made whether at the ministerial or presidential level.
As Saudi Arabia seeks support to host the World Expo in 2030, Mr. Nzeyimana said that Burundi is committed to supporting it.
According to the spokesperson for the President of the Republic, the discussions focused in particular on the pursuit of those good relations in the interest of the two respective peoples.
