Commemoration of the 7th anniversary of the assassination of Adolphe Nshimirimana

BUJUMBURA August 5th (ABP) – Burundi commemorated, on Tuesday August 2, the 7th anniversary of the assassination of Adolphe Nshimirimana, assassinated in 2015. Those commemorative ceremonies began with the laying of wreaths on the grave of the deceased, the CNDD-FDD party having been represented by Deputy Secretary General Joseph Ntakarutimana. Then the wreaths were laid by his widow, his children, his family and his close friends.

A mass in his memory was celebrated at the Guido Maria Conforti Parish located in the urban zone of ​​Kamenge.

During his homily, the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Bujumbura, Anatole Ruberinyange recalled that the late Adolphe Nshimirimana was characterized by faith and that he wished everyone happiness. Citing the testimony of the family of Adolphe Nshimirimana, Anatole Ruberinyange indicated that during the last days of his life, the late Adolphe Nshimirimana had the courage to ask God and his family for forgiveness for his shortcomings.

Anatole Ruberinyange took that opportunity to salute his commitment to faith, a legacy he left to his offspring.

Thus, he invited those who had the privilege to cross his path, to thank God, stressing that many people recognize having had his support in their lives. Anatole Ruberinyange called on the friends and acquaintances of the late Adolphe Nshimirimana to pray for his family and loved ones in order to have the courage to move forward.
