BUJUMBURA July 12th (ABP) – Mutimbuzi commune hosted on Friday July 8, 2022, a provincial moralization session in which participants from the administration and communal services of Isare, Mubimbi and Mutimbuzi communes took part.

In his illuminating words, the governor of Bujumbura province (western Burundi) indicated that “the moralization session is different from the others, because it leads us to reflect on the country, to love it and those who love the country begin by his household, his commune and his province”.

He pointed out a few acts which show that there are people in this province who do not love their country. He cited in particular cases of fraud in non-iodized salt and other products at the border with the DRC, the sale of plots to foreigners, etc.

He recalled that Bujumbura province suffered a lot during the war and appealed to the population, inviting them to watch over peace and security.

In his presentation, Ambassador Sylvestre Marora invited the participants to watch over the security of the country and the borders, day and night and also to work for the country by preserving his family.
