BUJUMBURA June 30th (ABP) – The Prime Minister of the Republic of Burundi, Mr. Alain Guillaume Bunyoni, accompanied by his wife as well as some officials working in the Prime Minister’s Office, shared the Sunday prayer on June 26, 2022, with the Christians of the Church Emmanuel of Bihara located in the Kanyosha zone of the urban commune of Muha in the city of Bujumbura.
Based on the word of God taken from Proverbs Chapter 3, verses 1 to 10, the Prime Minister has in his preaching asked Christians in to cut short with evil and embrace the right path that does not challenge the divine will.
He further instructed church leaders not to match the word of God with the various blunders.
According to him, in these times, some religious leaders misbehave and indulge in obscurantism, reason why they have been called upon to break with this kind of behavior which does not please the Lord at all.
The Prime Minister also asked the followers and leaders of the churches to avoid jealousy and betrayal because, he revealed, it is no longer a secret, because such cases exist everywhere within the churches.
