RUYIGI May 31st (ABP) – Burundi Prime Minister Alain Guillaume Bunyoni, in the company of his wife, and other senior State officials, joined the people of Gisuru commune, at worship on Sunday May 29, 2022, at Emmanuel Church based in the headquarters of Gisuru commune. That person in authority took that opportunity to ask the Christians gathered in that church to apply biblical teachings to better lead life on earth and better prepare for the life promised by God.

In his preaching, based on a biblical passage from the Gospel according to John, chapter 13, from verse 1 to 10, the Burundian Prime Minister asked the people of Gisuru not to take the path of the devil. He reminded them that each Christian who offers his/her life to Jesus Christ gives flavor and added value to his/her society. He stressed that the life God gives us is so precious, that we must not dishonor the Almighty who has promised us by his grace another better and eternal life. The Prime Minister also expressed his thanks to the community of Emmanuel churches in Burundi and in Ruyigi province for the work it has already carried out in the development of Burundi in different sectors of the country’s life.

Regarding the lack of electric current, the Prime Minister told the people of Gisuru and its surroundings that this commune is among the 56 localities which will soon be lit. For the particular case of Gisuru, the Prime Minister reassures that, taking into account the preparations already advanced, electricity will be a reality within a period not exceeding one year.
