The Minister of Public Service, Labor and Employment has received in audience the Ambassador of Zimbabwe to Burundi

BUJUMBURA, Apr 27 (ABP) – The Minister of Civil Service, Labor and Employment Dr Thaddée Ndikumana, received in audience, on Tuesday April 26, 2022, the Ambassador of Zimbabwe to Burundi, Prof. Charity Manyeruke, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

The minister in charge of the public service told the press that it was a courtesy visit, the exchanges having focused on cooperation between the two countries, in the field of labor and employment.

The Zimbabwean ambassador to Burundi, for his part, appreciated the reforms initiated by the Burundian Ministry of Public Service, especially at the level of administrative reform. That is how she wished that Zimbabwean colleagues be invited to come to Burundi to exchange experiences in order to renew a collaborative partnership between the two Ministries.

Dr. Ndikumana further reported that a committee will be set up to develop the memorandum of understanding to be signed between the two countries. He added that this committee will determine a framework for collaboration between the two ministries, especially since in Zimbabwe, they have a school of administration which is very strong.

According to Minister Ndikumana, they agreed to improve public administration and increase good collaboration.
