BUBANZA March 16th (ABP) – The personnel of the various provincial services of Bubanza (north-west of Burundi), the natives and the inhabitants on the spot are called to give, each one his contribution, for the development and the well-being of the inhabitants. of this province. That appeal was made to them by the governor of Bubanza province, Cléophas Nizigiyimana, on Saturday March 12, during the festivities for the exchange of vows.

In his speech, Governor Nizigiyimana presented certain achievements compared to the forecasts, among others the construction of the modern stadium in the provincial capital whose stands A and B are at 95%, stand C at 10%, and remains the grandstand D and the fence. He asked for everyone’s contribution for the finalization of this infrastructure. Other achievements mentioned include the construction of paved roads underway in the capital of the province, the training of young people in cooperatives on the development of bankable projects by the provincial development team which has been set up and 15 cooperatives that presented their projects to the BIJE received credits. He also spoke about the sensitizations in favor of the prevention of the Corona Virus pandemic, which is currently under control in Bubanza province, the exchanges which have been organized in all the communes, by the provincial governor, on the concerns of the population and the related solutions. The Governor of Bubanza also presented the achievements of the various provincial services, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

The governor of Bubanza province therefore called on the various provincial services, natives and inhabitants, to combine efforts and double their efforts to increase production, especially agricultural, for this year dedicated to agriculture. He asked them to think about family planning in order to cope with demographic pressure, to devote themselves to community development works, to respect the prices set by the State. He asked local administrators to multiply meetings with their leaders in order to discuss their concerns and remedies.

The provincial representative of the association of natives of Bubanza province, Mr. Côme Manirakiza, asked them to always feel concerned by the provincial development.
