Muhanga commune is endowed with a new administrator

KAYANZA February 28th (ABP) – Since Thursday, February 24, 2022, Muhanga commune in Kayanza province (northern Burundi) has had a new administrator in the person of Mr. Benoît Ndayizeye after more than two months of vacancy. to the dismissal of the one who was elected in 2020.

The investiture ceremonies took place under the auspices of the Governor of Kayanza, Mr. Rémy Cishahayo.

In his speech full of advice, the governor of Kayanza asked the new administrator of Muhanga to cut short any form of distraction and to be characterized by intelligence. He also invited him to be a true servant who always cares about the welfare of his followers.

To the people, Governor Cishahayo urged them to obey the new administrator. Since he is a modern farmer, the same provincial authority in Kayanza invited his followers to imitate him in good agricultural practices.

In turn, the president of the communal council in Muhanga at the same time governor of the BRB, Mr. Jean Ciza promised his unwavering support to the new administrator and took the opportunity to challenge the population of Muhanga to support him through activities leading to development.

Among the flagship projects left to him by the ousted administrator are, among other things, the regular monitoring of the Ruvubu hydro-agricultural marsh, the construction of a lodge for the police and the rehabilitation of the Gashibuka stadium.

Note that no communal administrator of Muhanga has had the chance to complete his mandate since 2005 and that Benoît Ndayizeye is the sixth administrator of this commune since that period.
