The Provincial Secretary of the CNDD-FDD party indicates that the choice to invest in agriculture was motivated by his desire to support the Responsible and Laborious State, and to respond to the call of the President of the Republic of Burundi, of the increase in production in Agri-livestock, currently taken as a source of wealth for the nation.
And from those 2 hectares, he harvested about 7 tons of hybrid maize. The Provincial Secretary of the CNDD-FDD calls on various authorities, civil servants and private individuals, to serve as a good reference in the increase of agricultural production, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
Note that data from the BPEAE (Provincial Office for the Environment, Agriculture and Livestock) show that in Bubanza province, hybrid maize was grown on 1141.5 hectares, of which 665 ha belong to civil servants and private sector, and the expected production amounts to about 4000 tons.
