The First Lady of Burundi has paid a visit to Nigeria

BUJUMBURA November 22nd (ABP) – The First Lady of the Republic of Burundi, Mrs. Angéline Ndayishimiye, flew Friday evening to Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.

According to a press release relating to that visit, the First Lady of the Republic of Burundi made this visit to take part in the summit of the Peace Mission of the First Ladies of Africa (MIPREDA) which will be held from November 21 to 22, 2021.

Mrs. Ndayishimiye will also participate in the elections of the president of MIPREDA for her revitalization as well as the laying of the first stone of the future headquarters of MIPREDA.

It is specified in that press release that this organization constitutes an instrument for consultation, advocacy and action to support Heads of State in the consolidation of peace and the resolution of conflicts in Africa.
