BUJUMBURA October 26th (ABP) – The Prime Minister of the Republic of Burundi, Mr. Alain Guillaume Bunyoni, in the company of his wife and some members of the prime minister’s staff, shared the prayer of the day on Sunday October 24 and especially the Word of God with the Christians of the Emmanuel church of Bihara located in the Kanyosha zone, Muha commune of the City of Bujumbura, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
In the teachings given and learned respectively in II Kings, Chap 13, verse 15-19, and Mark 10, verse 47-50, the Prime Minister invited the Christians of this church to resolve to break definitively with evil in order to aspire to salvation. According to Bunyoni, the fulfillment of a promise must imperatively be preceded by a fierce struggle that must be waged and the ability to endure suffering.
Those are the factors that lead to victory, he said, urging Christians to keep courage and stamina in prayer whenever they face the challenges of life.
According to the Prime Minister, good leadership takes root in humility and reading the Bible, but also and above all in daily prayer because, he insisted, when you put God aside, He too same. In addition, the Prime Minister positively appreciated the impact of the word of God in the country and in the whole community.
