BUJUMBURA October 20th (ABP) – The Nigerien First Lady, Mrs. Hadiza Bazoum, has been in Bujumbura since Monday, October 18, where she came to participate in the High-Level National Forum of Women Leaders on Malnutrition in Burundi, scheduled for Bujumbura in October 19 to 20 this year.
After a warm welcome at Melchior Ndandaye International Airport, the First Lady of Niger was received in audience by her colleague from Burundi, Mrs. Angeline Ndayishimiye, at the headquarters of the Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OPEDAD). Their discussions were mainly focused on the achievements of thqt institution in Burundi but also those of the Umugiraneza Good Action Foundation which is also chaired by the First Lady of Burundi.
It was also a great opportunity for the exchange of gifts between the two First Ladies, the exhibition of products made in Burundi but also the signature by the Nigerien First Lady in the book of honor.
Note that this Forum was organized under the theme “Let us unite to fight against malnutrition in Burundi”.
